Thank you London

On stage in Trafalgar Square
We were thrilled to be asked back to perform in Trafalgar Square for St Patrick’s Festival London 2018. The weekend got off to a flyer of a start with Ireland’s triumphant rugby players completing the Grand Slam in Twickenham. A contingent of the choir also attended Damien Dempsey who performed a superb show in Camden’s Roundhouse.

There were three performances in all for us on the Sunday. First up was our solo slot in Trafalgar, then on to Tottenham Court Road Tube Station for busking and finally back to Trafalgar for the Dolores O’Riordan tribute finale (performing with some seriously talented young women). We raised £75 at the busking, which was donated to the London Irish Centre. We’re hugely grateful to Gary Dunne, Creative Programmer of the festival for the last seven years, who invited us. We can only hope to be back at some point in the future.

Go raibh maith agaibh go léir.

Live at St Patrick’s Festival London 2018

St Patrick's Festival London

We’re delighted to announce that we’re returning to London for St Patrick’s Festival London 2018 on Sunday 18th March! We’re playing a twenty minute set in Trafalgar Square at 12.35pm, followed by an hour busking in Tottenham Court Road Tube Station at 3.00pm and back to Trafalgar for the ensemble finale at 5.45pm.

There’s an excellent programme of events across the entire weekend so we’re so happy to be involved again. It’s free, so please come along for a sing-song if you’re in town! Thanks to the London Irish Centre, Culture Ireland and the Mayor of London’s Office.

Backing Glen Hansard at Vicar St

So December 2017 brought us a brilliant experience in getting to back Glen Hansard at his two live shows in Vicar St. The way the gig came about was random and we had two weeks to prepare to back him on seven songs. It was an absolute pleasure for us and two nights we’ll never forget. Here’s Winning Streak:
