Songs in the Key of U2 – 30th November

Songs in the Key of D (SitKoD) are back with a brand new show to mark five years since their founding! Following a second successive appearance at London’s St Patrick’s Festival, the choir return to Dublin’s Liberty Hall Theatre on Friday, 30th November with Songs in the Key of U2. Audience members will enjoy a completely new show consisting of choral, band and soloist arrangements of a wide variety of U2 songs. Led by musical directors KC Fusion, expect to hear your favourite U2 songs uniquely arranged for the 50 person, 5 part choir.

The SitKoD choir have performed sell out shows in the National Concert Hall, The Olympia, Smock Alley and Blackrock College. They’ve also performed on the Late Late Show accompanying Dublin legends Aslan on ‘This Is’ and most recently backed Glen Hansard for his Vicar St shows.

The choir are joined on the night by indie-rock singer-songwriter Johnny Rayge, a mainstay of the Dublin music scene. Johnny’s music incorporates a diverse range of influences, fusing the melodic hooks of John Lennon, Coldplay and even Radioheadesque Jonny Greenwood arrangements. He recently featured at Electric Picnic having returned from touring Europe and North America earlier this year.

‘Songs in the Key of U2’ promises to be a great night for all so get your tickets today!
