Songs in the Key of D is a choir with a repertoire made up entirely of songs that are either about Dublin or that have a strong link with Dublin. We sing everything from the Hallelujah Chorus to The Script! A long standing idea of former producer, Eoin Kilkenny, who established the choir in 2013 for the Dublin Fringe Fest with sold out shows in Smock Alley Theatre.

The choir is led by not one but two musical directors, Chris O’Sullivan and Killian Grumley Traynor. They’ve formed a unique and successful partnership over the last few years, mashing Dublin’s artists together to create new arrangements like “Summer in the Rare Auld Times”, “Tell Me Why I Can’t Be Moved” and the “Bell X1, the Great Flame Of My Nigh”.
